Ah, Warmah Weathah
One thing about New England - we have great summers and we appreciate them. Walking with my wife Peg today was glorious in 60 degree weather. Though we love the snow it is great to be looking forward to summer - check out some of our summer pics!
With all due respect, to a southerner, what you call summers look an awful lot like the beginning of spring. Last year in Massachusetts, I experienced about 3 days of what I would call warm weather. It was so cold I never once was able to go swimming!

Once it get's above 65 it's plenty warm to swim!
Who wants to go swimming in 80 degree water - that's not refreshing!
A great summer day is 80 degrees outside, sunny and dry and water temp at 70 - at least from this New Englanders perspective.
Though I generally really like the southern states, I'll trade 2-3 months of 90+ weather for an extra month of winter.
No offense meant, y'all.
It's so cool that you have a blog. You should convince Bauer to start one :-)
